DAY 1
ARRIVE CAPE TOWN
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore on your own. Explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some great restaurants and nightlife. This is one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions. This busy harbor is set amid the huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, crafts markets, theatres, and lots more. It is situated in the heart of Cape Town’s harbor and set with a magnificent backdrop of the sea and mountains. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2
ROBBEN ISLAND TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a tour to Robben Island.

You will take a ferry and disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbor situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the buses, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The buildings were used for family and lawyer visits with prisoners.

A Robben Island Tour Guide will conduct the prison tour. This is part of our integrated tour model. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the Island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers, and the maximum-security prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.

DAY 3
CAPE TOWN CITY TOUR
Enjoy your drive through to the city center, pass famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company and City Hall, a splendid baroque building, and of course the Grand Parade. See St. George’s Cathedral and the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter.

Later, you will have the opportunity to learn the three-billion-year-old story of diamonds while touring prominent Shimansky Jewelers. The 45-minute tour reveals the origins of diamond mining and includes explanations of color, cut, and clarity. Following the tour stroll through the V & A Waterfront with its endless shopping and dining opportunities before returning to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

This evening, treat yourself to a seafood dinner at one of the trendy outdoor seaside restaurants while watching the magnificent sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. Rest of the day and evening at your own leisure. Later that evening you will be collected to enjoy a local dinner at Cape Town restaurant.

TABLE MOUNTAIN
Ascend to the summit of Table Mountain by cable car. Marvel (and take pictures) of the bird’s eye view of the city and its beaches.

DAY 4
PENINSULAR TOUR W/SEAL ISLAND
Today enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, before meeting your guide at the hotel foyer for a full-day exploring the stunning Cape Peninsula on this private tour from Cape Town, including the Boulders Beach penguin colony. Cruise along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire's Paradise - from Clifton to Camps Bay to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno - towards the charming working harbor of Hout Bay. Embark on an up close and personal Seal Island cruise. Wind along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive hugging the cliffs and relishing the breath-taking ocean views before arriving at your lunch spot of choice (own account) at the Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. We meander back along the coast towards the city visiting the historic naval port of Simon's Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder's Beach (own account). Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. With the sun setting over the tall peaks of Table Mountain the last rays sparkle on the trees and flowers.

DAY 5
ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG / SOWETO / SUN CITY
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival at Johannesburg, we will take a half day tour to Soweto where we will view notable sights to include the FNB Stadium, Mandela’s House, and the Hector Peterson Museum and Memorial. Then you will transfer to Sun City and check in.

DAY 6
SAFARI, CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR (PILANESBERG)
After breakfast, depart on your Pilanesberg Game Drive and experience the Pilanesberg National Park. Home to the magnificent 'Big Five' animals of the world, and a host of others. This relatively small size park and its unusual ecological richness dramatically increase your chance of encountering the Big 5 in their natural environment.

Our specialist tour into this famous reserve is in specially modified open safari vehicles. Both to enhance your game viewing and to provide the finest unimpeded vantage points for photography and bird watching. There's little space between you and your subject!

Then we will visit a local tribe in Pilanesberg. The tour is called Leeto Kgolo, meaning, “a great journey”. Guests are taken on an exciting bicycle tour by members of the Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela tribe: the original inhabitants of the Pilanesberg area.

The tribe welcomes visitors to learn more about their heritage and rich history. Your guides will take you to the four Bakgatla heritage sites. Guests are then taken to the Mphebatho Cultural Museum in Moruleng Village to see some interesting displays of ancient Batswana lifestyles and artifacts found in the area. They will share their stories, traditional crafts and food so you can learn more about the history of the Pilanesberg area. Guests can play some of the indigenous games. Vibrant traditional dances and singing is available on request. The guides will show you the first school built by the locals and the rain making rock. Then it's time to hop on a bicycle and take a ride through the Village, including a local shebeen/tuck shop, at “Tshilong” where you’ll learn about traditional food preparation, the rain making rock and Kgosi Kgamanyane's wall. The tour concludes at TT’s, a local hot spot with great food, company and drinks. Guests who prefer not to cycle can be driven there in a vehicle instead.

DAY 7
SUN CITY RESORT
Enjoy your day exploring this vast resort. This is South Africa's premier holiday resort offering entertainment and relaxation opportunities and various activities. There is golf, a casino, shops, as well as 4 different world class hotels. There is a complete food arcade with various dining options including casual dining. In addition to the swimming pools located at each of the 4 hotels at the resort, Sun City offers a multitude of thrilling water activities. Water world is situated at the man-made Sun City Lake which offers parasailing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, and gentle lake cruises. The Valley of the Waves at Sun City's Lost City is one of the resorts major draw cards. Featuring a large wave pool. capable of generating 1.8-meter waves every 90 minutes. There is a sandy beach and several exciting rides. The Valley of the Waves offers fun for the whole family.
